A final point about the grouping of terms is that if you want to find results which include an exact phrase, most search engines let you do this by placing the phrase in quotes. eg
"knitting for children". In the advanced search facility, you are offered a box title "With the exact phrase".
This is particularly useful when searching for names where the forename and surname may not be kept together and in order by a search engine.

Try two searches with land act and "land act" as search terms. You will see that the first search produces results relating to Acts of Parliament which relate in some way to land eg we found one about stopping dog fouling on public land. The second search leads us to the various Land Acts. |
