Essex's excellent site has a Quick Reads section for emergent readers. It allows readers to submit their own suggestions and reviews. The site also allows searching for other special needs.

Bi-lingual Welsh reader development website, developed as part of the Estyn Allan reader development project, and contains books in broad themes.

The Vital Link promotes reading for pleasure to emergent readers, adult basic skills students and new learners, and contains books in broad themes. It is run by The Reading Agency in partnership with the National Literacy Trust and the National Reading Campaign. Its 1^st choice selection features titles from mainstream fiction and non-fiction stock that will appeal to emergent readers.
