Have a look at the following reader development websites:

National Library for the Blind http://fiction-cafe.nlb-online.org/


A website for visually impaired readers. The Fiction Cafe has been funded by the DfEE and produced by the NLB in collaboration with Opening The Book. The Fiction Café displays extracts from books in large print without any screen adjustment This is a good example of a website which works effectively for its target group.



There are also sites aimed at the parents, carers, mentors of clients. The Booktrust charity funds this site which is a good example of an information source on reading difficulties and/or disability and children's books. It also has web links to relevant projects.
