Reader development initiatives for clients with special needs or with specific language requirements
Reader development initiatives is the term used to encompass funded, time-limited projects or book prizes, which open up a wider range of reading choices for clients. Well known examples are "A touch of.." and "A touch more of.." run by the National Library for the Blind.
This is a wide client group and there may not be reader development initiatives relevant to each sub-group. We will give some examples of reader development initiatives for particular client groups.
